bones and switch layer

Post by bix »

Hi,
I have done an animation of an head with some expression using the switch layer to simulate frame by frame animation. Then I put bone to the head to bend it., but it only rotates not bend and dinamics bones but in the hair didn't work.
the structure is Bone layer>switch layer> expression layers.
if i put one of the expression layer directly under the bone it works... but I can't switch between th edifferent expression during the animation.
Thanks for your help

The structure is Bone layer>switch layer> expression layers(vector layer and images).

Try and put your bones directly into the switch layer. That way they can affect every vector layer directly under the switch layer.

I tried, but if the bone layer is under the switch layer i can't switch between the expression: the switch layer let me keyframe only the bone layer(right click on the switch layer), and I have some problems with the render.
I have found a not simple solution: deleted the switch layer and animated the visibility of all the drawing... but I've to kframe all the visibility.... isn't so usefull.
Any simpler idea?
thanks

You've misread me. Create the bones directly in the switch layer - sounds funny, but is possible.

That's interesting.
Going to have to experiment with that one.
