Helicopter swing

Post by fracturedray »

Did all the tutorials this weekend and last night I wanted to do something fun. So I choose to do a guy hanging on to the helicopter ski. Almost didn't think it was possible till I realized the hand holding the ski would be the parent bone.

I'm not worried about the art right now. this is about technique and figuring out how to do what I want and if it looks good.

only issue with face turn is i think you warp perspective too much, almost looks like a fisheye lens? (maybe he's looking through a door viewer? hehe)

It is the regular version but they are flash (swf) movies not sprites. Sorry, I don't even know if pro can do sprites. It would be cool if they could but I'm not sure I can afford to buy a pro copy right now.

If you're on windows, Microsoft Gif Animator is a nice free program for making Gifs from Avi movies.
