Retiming and action

OK so you can rescale keyframes
select the range
and even type of keys

But what if I want to quickly rescale the keys in an action?
How do I do that?
(Leaving the mainline and other actions unchanged?)

You can rescale the keyframes of an action while it is the active timeline. AS will complain, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. If in doubt, backup your file.
