Hi everybody, does anyone use Sony Vegas Movie Studio? I am having trouble exporting some files, it distorts some times. :( And they do not have a good forum so yeah...
I love comments for they help me improve on my weaknesses.

In what format do you export in Anime Studio? And in what format do you export in Vegas Studio?

I want to be able to put it on DVD using sony's DVD Architect, but some of my clips glitch sometimes.

In Anime Studio I export in 720x486, 30fps, quicktime PNG compressed.

I know i'm doing something wrong, but hopefully you will solve my problems

The first thing to consider is what the export format is to be used for, TV , filmor web?
If it is tv the you have a choice of PAL Europe asia and Australia which is 25 fps. you can use avi or quicktime or stills of any kind. JUST use PAL in the project settings of both anime and Vegas
If you in USA then its ntsc which is some crummy resolution and fps,( sorry American friends, but WTF is ntsc all about? total bollocks- thank the video gods we shall soon see the last of that UGLY format) also just use the project settings of anime and vegas.
If you are going for film print then it's 24 fps.
If its for you tube I think the resolution is 480 x 360 not sure about that.
HD some thing just select the presets its all quite simple.
One thing to look for is in the vegas project select in the project properties panel progressive scan as you work and make sure your input and output frames per second match.

When you render out from vegas to dvd architect use the advised settings there- check the help for details, what it will be is mpeg video and ac3, the ac3 settings can be tricky audio as separate files, but with dvd architect it will actually take care of that conversion too .
Once again just make sure everything matches in resolution and fps.
It's alll pretty simple.
I can send a proper explanation on that later if you get any more problems.

Would that be 24fps in NTSC for TV?

Anyways, do you have a youtube account? :)
