Hi,
I'm new to Anime Studio Pro. I've search the forum for this problem. While in create shape mode, I make the required adjustment and hit space bar. When I try to change the line to make it thinner to 0.25 it does not allow me to do so.
When I create a line wit the width to be 0.25 it comes out too think no matter how many times I change the settings.
Is there some procedure I'm missing. I read in the manual that the spacebar should allow you to activate the new change.
Thanks in Advance,
Problem Controlling line width in create shape mode

I think I understand.
It sounds like you are getting the 'create shape' and 'select shape' tools a bit confused. When you 'create' a shape hitting space does the actual creation. Once created (and still selected) you can modified its parameters in the styles window. This is the same as selecting a shape with the 'select shape' tool.
Go over the tutorials again. Practice should clarify this.

Also if you select a shape and change the width in the style palette AND THEN hit return... the shape is deselected. This always gets me when I'm experimenting with different line widths. I keep forgetting the shape is deselected when I hit return after changing the width. So further changes do nothing until I reselect the shape again.

There is another odd thing I discovered recently. this may already be a known issue. It has to do with the animated property of the POINT width tool.
There is the stroke width "style" and the point width tool value. They are different. The point width doesn't have ANY value until you actually set it. It's "default" is "1" or the "normal" value set in the style palette. But if you don't set the point width there is no value at all, not 1, or 0 or anything. It's blank, not set. This means that keying that value on other frames doesn't always give you the result you would expect. This can be an issue when animating this value because you have to set the value to 1 on a key frame even if you don't really think you want to.
If frame 0 line width (tool) is not set and you key this value on another frame, it changes the width GLOBALLY from frame 0 to the keyed value. Very odd.
This is also why setting the value on a frame other than 0 won't delete. When the point width value key on a frame absolutely won't delete it's because the value on frame 0 is not set. Whenever a value on frame 0 is not set and you key it on another frame that key won't delete unless you set the value on frame 0 or copy that value to frame 0. I got very very confused one day this week trying to figure that one out.
