A ghost and a candle

Post by Vilma »

Howdy!

here's something I've been doing the whole day at work after I learnt that I might not have a job in the near future. ;-) Wheeeee...

I'm really satisfied with the outcome... It was really fun doing this :-)

edit: Aw shucks... now I see there's a glow on the ghost that must be removed after the candle blows out. I'll change it at home.. ;-P

I like it. Good expresions of the ghost. And the flame effect is effective. What I don't understand is why is it so pixelated being published in vimeo (what it is supposed to have better quality than youtube)

Nice one.

(Made me think about having more options of outline animation: like setting it to a certain framerate, and with/without interpolation as a choice)

Nice work Vilma! ;)

Oh and your not alone. I just lost my IT job due to budget cuts. It's great when they do that right before the holidays.

Thanks for comments! :-)

The problem of the quality must be my settings.. I use the default resolution. I'll ty to upload it to YouTube for comparison. Perhaps I'll need to render it again with different resolution.

It still has a lot of mistakes that I'm going to fix but at the moment I'm pleased. Everytime I do something with AS I'm amazed of what it's capable of.

Yay! :D
