I'm not sure how to animate this little Santa. He's got this huge mouth- so when it closes should his cranium come down to let his lips match up (greatly reducing his overall height) or should his bottom lip come upward to meet with his top lip?

Bottom lip to meet top, unless this is a really extreme mouth pose, in which case the head could come down a bit. Perhaps split the difference.
