Great AS review on Flash Filmmaker

There's a great new review of AS posted on flashfilmmaker.com!

Although overwhelmingly positive, I'm sure that some will disagree with the comments about AS drawing tools and recommendations to generate your assets in Flash or Illustrator...

While somewhat misleading, it is a good review overall.

It says that there have been no improvements since version 2, ignoring layer sorting. It does make a pretty good point about viewing AS as more of a 3D app optimized for 2D, having an actual 3D environment rather than just multiplane like its competitors.

Fazek's tools should really be added to the retail product, as the original drawing tools are always the biggest point of contention.

Overall it's a fair review, though a bit skewed by assuming anything other than cell animation is 'experimental'.

Yeah, the FA tools should be the standard way they work, they're much quicker to use. There are still tools which don't have FA equivalents though, so it'd be nice to bring them up to that level in the standard package too.

I was shocked not one single mention of the scripting interface or the replacement tools. Got to figure out a way to promote this so it doesn't feel... "high tech" or "scary" or too advanced.
