any idea to import Inkscape SVG to Anime Studio.
becuase EPS created by Inkscape is not being opened by AS.
In the New Version of Inkscape there is no option for saving as AI.

I don't use Inkscape but found this anyway:
Like anything open source, there may be certain things you need to install yourself.
Here:http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=820Note that a required dependency may not be available for your platform (i.e. some dependencies might be available for Linux but not Windows). Also, if a filetype is not listed in Inkscapes save or open dialog and also not mentioned in extension-errors.log then it isn't supported.

from inkscapewiki:

"[edit] Open *.AI
* install perl and optionally Image::Magick
* Only handles Illustrator versions prior to version 9 (version 9 onwards stores files as PDF according to https://createpdf.adobe.com/cgi-feeder. ... &LOC=en_US)
[edit] Save *.AI
* requires pstoedit with the ps2ai filter
* uses Inkscapes internal ps output extension"

from inkscape FAQ:
http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php ... Fexport.3F
"[edit] What formats can Inkscape import/export?
Inkscape natively supports opening or importing SVG, SVGZ (gzipped SVG), PDF, and AI (Adobe Illustrator) formats.
With the help of extensions, Inkscape can open a number other vector formats. For importing PostScript or EPS, you need to install Ghostscript and make sure ps2pdf is in your PATH. For formats of Dia, XFig, or Sketch, you need to have these programs installed. For CorelDraw, CGM, and SK1 files, you need to have UniConverter installed."
-----------------------------------------------
So it seems you need to install Ghostscript and pstoedit. I didn't do it myself. I hope someone more tech-savvy will try it and report if it works.
That ps2ai filter seems to be part of Ghostscript.
