Image textures

Post by Sirref »

I just started using the standard version of Anime Studio and I was playing around and i tried to put an image i drew in photoshop into a shape I made. But it wouldn't work. This is probably a really dumb question but if anyone could tell me step-by-step what to do I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks

EDIT: And I know you go to the Fill and Fill Effects thing, and i've selected an image it just won't appear in my shape.

Image textures only show when rendered.

And what exactly does that mean? Like when I finish and export?

Yes, it shows in a single frame render or animation export. Basically what you see in the AS window while you work is a "preview". You won't see most of the fill effects. Sometimes complex masking with nested layers will not display correctly either.

Doing a CTRL+R every once in a while is a good thing. Especially if something you expect to see isn't there or doesn't look right.
