I enjoy watching Japanese anime. I would like to see what is being produced by amateurs, or one-man productions, in the way of anime. Is there a web site where amateurs post their anime movies?

There are quite a lot, but most of them are submitted to Japanese sites, so they're a bit difficult to find.

There are some great ones on this Japanese contest site page:

Click on "→次の作品" in the top-left corner to scroll through them all. It's good to see that there's a huge amount of variety there, and not all Japanese animation looks like the Anime we know in the west.

Some of the older ones don't seem to have the videos hosted locally any more, but hopefully you'll be able to get to them from the link to the author's site.
