Crashes When I Import Soundtrack

Post by krusejj »

Hi. I am using Anime Studio Pro. I have my characters set up. I record audio in Adobe Soundbooth and export as a wav file. I set up the audio in papagayo. I import the dat file into Anime (switch file). Then I import the soundtrack - wav file. Then it crashes. Sometimes I am able to animate a little and sometimes it crashes right away. From that point on, I can't even open the Anime Studio file without it crashing. I have tried every setting in Soundbooth down to the very lowest setting. Has anyone experienced this issue? Thanks.

Difficult to spot. Have you tried to import the sound into any other program, like a video editor? Does that crash as well?

If you can't open the AS file anymore then it may have been corrupted. If you want to PM me the file, I'll see if it can be fixed. May be as simple as having an unusual letter character in the path of the audio file.

Thanks, guys for responding. Much appreciated. I gave up on Soundbooth and downloaded Audacity. I am good to go. Thanks again.

I've had similar problems with WAV files produced using iTunes not working in AS. For some reason the default WAV file export in Audacity seems to work better with AS.
