With the robin clip I was trying for a soft, airbrushed kind of look. Turned out to be pretty complicated, with the amount of masking going on, so with the next bit of animation I did (the girl in the mask) I decided to do the whole thing with two layers, plus background. Kind of a relief to do something the simpler way...

Ignore the third clip, it wasn't done on AS.
