how to manage cycling of eye blinking + emotion??

Post by rpc9943 »

hey there.

just wondering do any of you guys know a way to automate the blinking switch layer of eyes,, and then break into it when you want the emotion of the eyes to change?

for instance:

-normal eye open
-blink
-angry eye open

so that it is > normal (blink cycle) > angry (blink cycle) > normal (blink cycle)

is this possible? or is it some crazy script i would have to run?

i'm not at this point yet but just very curious how it would work... i mean i could probably just do it all manually...

You don't have the Pro version but I do this with actions (and it's easy that way).

Can't think of an easy way to do this in the standard version.

Nested switch layers, much like the opening example. You'd have:

Emotion switch
>happy switch
>angry switch

If you have cycling keys for blinking in each, then you'd only need to switch between which of these emotion switch layers is showing.

hot. thank you for that simple method... i may be returning to this thread on exactly how to set up the cycle repeat.

this might be perfect for non-dialogue / dialogue switching too... oh man. so excited.
