how to convert swf file into other video formats ?

i made some swf files from Anime studio and other softwares. how to convert these swf file into other video formats like (Avi or wmv or someother format )with high definition? Also which best suitable video format for TV (we are using PAL).

SWF to video is not converting, it's rendering. You want to put a vector image into a bitmap format, so you need to render.

In AS the best way would be to export into a bitmap format right away (PNG sequence, or some video format you can use). If you have SWF files from elsewhere, you will need Flash to render them into a video format, although I'm not sure if some SWF players are able to render.

TV format: it's not about the "best" format, it's always the format the client requires. PAL is a good choice for european TV. However, it is not HD. Maybe you should give us more infor about what you're trying to do.

I use a program called Express Animator. It kind of like a junior Flash, none of the extras of Flash but does get the job done. Cost around 40 and has a demo. Beware that it chokes on AS flash output with out making sure that you animation is set for Flash. (read the tutorials)
