delete cycles in timeline?

how do you get rid of a cycle in the time line that you don't want anymore? I expected that I could uncheck "cycle" when I right-click a cycling keyframe - but it is already unchecked, although there is a cycle.

Add a normal keyframe at the place where you want to stop the cycle.

there is no way to completely remove the cycle?

Delete the end keyframe of the cycle

or right click on the cycled keyframe and set it as smooth (or linear or whatever you want).
