opacity keyframes not in timeline on AS6 Pro

Hi,

I'm setting the opacity levels of layers to accomplish some fades, however, AS 6 Pro is setting the opacity for the entire length of the animation and not adding a keyframe to the timeline?

anyone come accross this?

on a mac if that makes a difference

Have you ticked the "animatable enable layer effects" inside the layer you're animating?

i never saw that in anime studio 5, maybe it was on by default so i never had to click it.
