My First Real Head Turn...

Post by Thunder Angel 00 »

I don't know if there are different ways to do this, but I did this particular head turn with point translation.

Looks pretty good. You could probably play with having the hair lag behind a bit on the movement, then when she stops it keeps going (because of intertia), then falls back into place (because of gravity).

Depends on how much hairspray she uses, really.

Looks great. Feels more like a camera motion then a head turn though. Maybe adding a bit of a dip and some movement to the hair would add a little life to the character. Keep it up.

Thank you for the tips everyone. :)

I do plan on making a full character out of her, with the works. I'm still learning the software's in's and out's. I'm glad this forum exists. It'll definitely speed up the learning process quite a bit.

I think it looks really good. There are a bunch of ways to do head turns. If you did not do the point translation as an action. I think you might have done it about the hardest way. At least that would be my opinion.
