Import gradient color from Illustrator

How can I import this kind of gradient color from Illustrator?

I just get a blank rectangle...

You can't use the ASP's Gradient option?

I don't understand how to control the direction of the gradients there...

If you have version 6 you can control the gradient moving a red line which will be over your shape.
