Why Can't I Color Certain Shapes?

Hello everyone,

I'm new here, and to Anime Studio. I've been going through the tutorials and have a frustrating problem when I try to draw things in Anime Studio.

Why is it that I can't fill in certain shapes? It happens mostly when I attach them to another shape. Also, why can I see some of the lines when I render the image, but not others? Aren't size 1 lines supposed to be invisible?

you got two lines. erase one and it will work. second you hav to fill the line if you want it to be visible.
