3D animation problems

Post by Howard »

Hi, i'm new in anime studio and currecntly i am using it for my project. Thus may someone share with me why once i comepleted my work and save the file ,when i reopen the save file, the 3D animal will only show a white color objects without colour? (the 3d animal is provided in the library, i import it for my animation)

my 2nd question, is there any better way to insert bone for 3D object? coz after i insert the bone, when i try to move it , both of the legs will move together and the pic is like pulled up.

Thanks a lot for yr kindly help, i really cannot solve these problems. Hope to hear from u all soon. :)

Try double-clicking the bone layer and under the BONE tab check region biding or flexible binding, whatever its on now change it to the other one.

Which animal did you try using? The animal turning all white sound like Anime Studio is unable to locate its texture maps when you re-open it. Most often, this can happen if you move your Anime Studio project file to a different computer that doesn't have the same 3D animals installed (or has them installed in a different location).

Is there something you can think of that would have affected the location of the 3D animal files?

To Lost Marble, thanks for yr reply. I'm using ''Buck'' as my 3D animal, even thought i got try on others animal ,result still the same. besides i'm using the same computer to re-open it, so i think it should be ok.
The problem now is i cannot re-open it with its color, but if i straightaway export the animation which i have done , i can see the video with it's color.
Sorry to bother you , but i'm really happy that got someone to share with me. coz i'm really got no idea.
Thanks

To Dear Mikdog. Thanks for yr reply.

I'm using one of the 3D animals (a Buck) that is available in AS Pro. The problem is the bones doesn't seem to attach to 1 of the legs of the Buck.

The front legs was ok but due to the proximity of the hind legs, the bone of the left hind leg is also moving the right hind leg. The weird thing is, when the left and right hind leg moves up, the bone of the right hind leg stays there unmoved.

Kindly pls advise.

Dear Howard, only a pleasure. Man, I'd really like to help you but I have little if no experience with 3D models. I think your best best is getting some advice from Lost Marble, or maybe posting the file with all the elements included in a ZIP file so some guys can have a look at it, I know SELGIN is pretty good at the 3D aspect. Hope you come right man.
