I'm getting an error message whenever AS Pro 6 starts, for the "Localize" function for each script.
I did have AS Pro 5 previously. Not sure if I uninstalled 5 first. It looks like the older ver 5 scripts are generating the error message.
Is ver supposed to be uninstalled first?
Should I uninstall everything, then reinstall 6?
I don't have any custom scripts installed that I'm using, so starting clean wouldn't be a problem at this point. But I would like to install a "package" of V6 compatible scripts (if they are organized like that) at some point.

The best bet is a reinstall. It should have created a separate folder for Anime Studio 6 when it installed. You should remove the old AS 6 folder so it starts "fresh".
What may have happened apparently is that it installed 6 in your 5 folder. The tools have the same name and didn't get replaced? Just a guess.
I had this same problem during beta testing and it was fixed. I installed and uninstalled 5 and 6 several times to be sure.
Initially AS 6 was installing in the AS Pro folder (no number extension on the folder). So all those errors would come up when launching 6. Then the newer versions created its own folder for version 6.
You didn't happen to drag script folders around? Like copy the 5 script folder to 6?

Uninstalled 6, then reinstalled. No errors. There is a "6" in startup group. I don't recall dragging scripts around, and the install was very recent.heyvern wrote:

I think more likely is that I might have pointed the new install at the old directory.
Also, I first installed the free demo, then later installed a copy from the mail.
Working OK now.
