A friend of mine has started a blog demonstrating various animation techniques. He has just posted one on walk cycles which is heavily illustrated. I thought it may be useful for newbies....

Yes, Andy did used to work using Anime Studio full time - presumably at the company you work for. He's a brilliant animator so there should be some good info coming up on his site.

Strange as in it's a small world, more than surreal type.

He is a very good animator, something I'm looking to work to. This blog of his looks as if it will become an excellent resource.
