Choppy Render

Post by 58Miles »

Hi all,

This is my first post and hope to learn a lot here. I am a amiture hobbiest. I have Anime Studio 6 Debout.

I had a dolphin image and broke it apart and exported each part.

Head Torso 1 Torso 2 Torso 3 Torso 4 and Tail

I have all the bones set up and in Anime Studio it plays nice and smooth. When I export it to AVI then it is extreamly choppy. After the first render I removed the Allow Frame Skipping option but am still getting choppy renders. Any help would be great.

Two possibilities come off the top of my head. The first thought is that your computer is having a hard time playing the AVI file. Render a small resolution version to rule that out.

Second could be your FPS, frames per second. If you set up AS scene with one frame rate and then saved the AVI as a different FPS that could be an issue.

You didn't mention if the audio of the avi plays back fine or not, so I'm shooting in the dark. Also not sure what you mean by choppy.

I was rendering full uncompresed and changed the codec and this fixed the issue.
