I know this isn't that hard, but masking blows my mind. I understand how to do some things with it, but not what I'm trying to do now.
So I have my characters walking left to right through a doorway (drawn in perspective, but the doorway is all on one layer. This creates an issue with having part of the doorway look like it's behind them and part of it look like it's in front. . .namely that I can't make do it, so I'm thinking a "wall" that masks the characters until they're in the right spot would be the answer.
Can you guys tell me how to set it up so that I have a top layer, that covers the characters, but is still invisible? They would walk out from behind it and it would look like they're walking out from behind the door frame.
