copy layer keyframes to a different layer

Post by rogermate »

I'm able to copy keyframes within the same layer.

Are you able to copy keyframes from one layer to another? I want to copy the layer resizing at some keyframes to another layer.

I select the keyframes and they appear red, click copy, switch to the other layer, and tried selecting the same "lane". I've tried having the same layer tool active.

I don't get an error message, but nothing happens.

Are we able to do this (version 6)?

If so, what steps am I missing?

No.

I sometimes use this workaround: to reuse animation, I duplicate the whole layer, then go to #0 and replace all artwork.

It's good to know for sure.

Nice work around for certain circumstances.

Thanks again.

There are some crashcore's scripts to copy and paste keyframes from one layer to another. Take a look on the script section. Crashcore made several scripts which all should have installed (in my opinion).

PD: ok, I search for you, look at this post viewtopic.php?t=2448
