Imagine this:
Drag the timeline with right button of mouse. Zooming with shift+right mouse. Select keyframes with select points tool, Scale with scale tool, etc.
In resume, work in timeline just like in main window.
Wouldn't it be FANTASTIC?
Graph mode is an awesome feature and I can't animate without it, but its interface is not the better, actually it requires a lot of clicks and shortcuts that AS main window elegantly avoid.
Use the main tools on Graph mode

Re: Use the main tools on Graph mode
Good ideas. I've noticed that selecting keyframes took a little more effort than absolutely necessary. Why not loop select them?selgin wrote:Imagine this:

I'm so hooked on scrolling with right click in the main window, that I do the same thing in Gimp and my Spreadsheet. Not much luck in those apps.
But the timeline window seems a perfect candidate. Just had new handlers in the timeline window for those mouse events, scrolling functionality is already there. Same with scale.
Better selecting of keyframes might not be as quick to develop.
I've never tried graph mode yet. Still learning.
