Particle channel in the timeline AS 6
Can somebody tell me please how do i activate the particle channel in the timeline in AS 6.1:?:
I checked the option "allow animated layer effects" in the layer settings of the particle layer and maniputaled the animated layer effects in frame 1 or other but the particle layer channel is not shown but the layer motion blur, layer chading, layer shadow, layer opacity, layer blur.Mikdog wrote:You can go to FRAME 1, double-click the particle layer, choose ENABLE ANIMATED LAYER EFFECTS or something like that, then make a change and a keyframe will show up on frame 1, and the particle channel show up in the timeline.
I think to make appear a keyframe in the particle layer channel i would have to make a change in its particle settings, but it cannot be animated.

Only the on/off particles are animatable... remember? only on/off. Set the particles off by:Genete wrote:The particle layer channel shows the parameter of particles ON/OFF only if there is a keyframe there. Like all the channels in the new 6.0 version, it is not shown unless there are keyframes on it.

1) Click on the particles tool at the 'Layer' group toolbox section. (it is the one that has a folder with random dots on it) and uncheck the 'Particles On' checkbox in the tool option bar.
2) Right click on the particle layer and select 'Turn Particles Off' on the context pop up menu.
and you'll see the particles channel.
Not a bug. It works like always has worked. Just the channel is hidden because there is not any keyframe on it.
