Animating Images Separate then Together

I am trying to animate a machine that has a main body with two moving parts. The main body and two associated parts are png images. Let's say its a car as a simlilar example. I want the hood to close in the first 10 sec, then I want the trunk to close in the next 10 sec, then I want the entire car to move as a single unit in the next 10 sec. I have each image on a separate image layer. I can get the hood and the trunk to close, but when the car starts moving the 3 images move at different rates. I am using the $49 version of Anime.

Put all those image layers in a bone layer. Then, when it comes time to move the car, use the TRANSLATE TOOL or scale or whatever on that BONE layer, which will move all images within it like a group.

Thanks. Actually I think that was half of the problem. I played with the various keyframe types and then stumbled upon the unconsolidated timeline to see where animation starts and stops. Have it working now. Thanks again.
