I took a short break from Anime Studio and when I came back to it I'm having to learn it all over again.
I remember there was a key I could type to de-select all points, which is very useful, because sometimes it's very difficult to do when you're zoomed in. I'm used to programs which automatically de-select what you had selected when you make a new selection.
Another issue I've been having is corner points being rounded instead of sharp. I want to draw nice thick lines which have sharp points at the corners. I thought there was an option to set the type of end cap on lines, but maybe I'm thinking of Freehand.
Thanks,
Don
What's the key command to de-select points?

You can find a lot of useful keyboard shortcuts in the tutorial of the program.SpaceBoy64 wrote:Thanks Parker!
Note to Smith Micro: It sure would help if those keyboard shortcuts were documented, either in the menu or the help file or both. I looked all over and couldn't find anything about them.
Thanks again,
Don

If you are on AS 6, shortcuts are on page 310 of users guide. It's not hard to find really, it's on the index.SpaceBoy64 wrote:I have done those tutorials, but then when I'm stuck and can't remember where the heck I read about something, the first place I look is in the user's manual.PARKER wrote: You can find a lot of useful keyboard shortcuts in the tutorial of the program.
And if you are on AS 5 or Moho 5, you can find them on the user's guide, even online

I'm using AS6 Pro. I used the search function to look up "Point selection", "de-selection", "drop selection", and I re-read the whole section on drawing. I just couldn't find anything. I didn't think to look at the end pages.
Thanks.
Why is it that certain shortcuts are shown in the menu by their command, and certain others are left blank when they actually do have shortcuts?
