I can not move the bone on a switch layer. If I erase the switch layer, the bone funtions normally but when I have a swith layer (for example, a switch with two heads or with two hands, open and close) i can not move it or apply dinamics to it. Why is that??
Yes, I try, but the layer entirely move but the bone remains still.. besides, the the switch that Iam trying to move has two bones (is the body). And with the bind layer, the layer respond to one of the bones or the other... but I need to use two bones to make it bend properly.
I dont know if I am been clear know.. please ask me if you dont quite understand the situation.
I'm still not getting your setup from your description.
Usually you'll have something like this:
Bone layer (several bones)
- some body part 1 (vector or image)
- some body part 2
- some body part 3
- switch layer (bound to 1 bone via layer binding)
- - some body part 4
- - some body part 5
Now if you move the skeleton in the bone layer, the switch layer with all that's in it should move with the bone it's bound to. Of course you know that anything inside the switch layer will not be controlled by the bone layer - a bone can only control what's directly under the bone layer in hierarchy.
Since a switch layer can have bones as well, it's possible to bind the contents of it to these bones.
Bone layer (several bones)
- some body part 1 (vector or image)
- some body part 2
- some body part 3
- switch layer (bound to 1 bone via layer binding) (having several bones)
- - some body part 4 (bound to a bone of the switch layer)
- - some body part 5
In order to move all bones now, you have to work in the timeline of the bone layer and in the timeline of the switch layer.
I just tried it!!! it work perfectly!!! thank you very much.
The trick was to make a bone in the switch layer... i have never thought of it.
thank you!!!
