How do I add two differents scenes together.

Post by neomarz1 »

This is what I'm trying to do. I want to be able to pull in a animation and be able to import it into the scene, but I want to be able to pull it into the scene on a "certain frame", say like frame 26 or something like that. I recently made a Lense Flare animation (with bones and everything) and I want to have it play at a certain point as an overlay in the animation.

Thanks Mars

Best way: edit your scenes in a video editor.

If you're limited to AS: put everything in scene 1 into one folder (group/bone layer). Then open scene 2 and import that folder via AS object import. Set it to invisible until you need it.

O.k. heres the problem im having so far. Im trying to start the animation for my lense flare. I brought it in as a group folder. Now how do get it to start on a certain frame, and is there a way to get (the group) to stay inside the camara move in the new scene?

Starting point: in v6.1 you use the sequencer to shift that folder in time. In v5.6 you have to do the same with all keys in every timeline on every layer of that folder.

Camra: in your layer's properties you just check "immune to camera".
