Layer Groups

New to the Anime Debut 6. I see a number of reference to layer groups in sample animations and the in the user manual. Howerver they don't talk about creating them. How do you create a layer group? Is this an Anime Pro feature?

groups are a AS pro feature but you can have them in the debut version, you just need to import an AS object that has one (most of the AS 5 backgrounds have them and a few of the characters)

You can use bone layer as a group layer. I have AS pro and 90% of the time I use bone layers anyway. If you use a group layer and you find that you need to change it to a bone, it can be done, but it is a pain and you just added work that was unnecessary.

Just remember, if anything in the layer might move, make it a bone layer.

Humm, if you get group layers by importing them, I wonder if you save one just as an empty group layer, then imported it when you wanted a group layer?
