Colours changing problem

Post by Woofb »

I'm trying to draw the dot for an 'i' rolling along a few letters into place. The letters were done in black, and I have the dot selected as I move it.

Suddenly, the letters go through grey into white as I go, despite the fact that I haven't selected them or changed the fill colour.

This has happened twice now. What's happening?

I'm a beginner, and I can't see what's going on here at all.

Cheers, Woofb

I bet that you have modified the color of the layer somewhere.
Maybe if you share the anme file we can confirm it...

Can't figure out how to put the file up here.

What seems to be happening at the moment is that the colours of all shapes suddenly go white at frame 5 for no readily-apparent reason, even though the fill colour is not white (what happened with the previous iteration was that shapes suddenly went through grey to white).

You've changed the colour of a shape on a frame other than 0 by the sounds of it. You need to select the layer that your shape is on, locate the 'shape fill' keyframe in the timeline and delete it.
