Greetings, also a question about multiple audio tracks

Post by Pan »

Hey! I'm new here, just got Anime Studio Debut recently (after giving the trial a shot). And already, I've hit a snag.

Basically, I'm wondering if it's possible to put two sound files (I'm using MP3s right now) into one audio layer. When I tried, it just created a new layer. This is a problem, because you can only have two audio layers in AS Debut. My only idea right now is to edit them all together in Audacity or something, and put that in. However, it would be difficult to do that and have it perfectly sync up to the animation. If I can put them all in separately, that would make things much easier.

Any suggestions or tips?
Thanks.

Also, it's nice to meet you guys. Expect me in here asking for help a lot.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I have an idea, but as I have pro version I don't know if that would work. You could import a video with audio. If the limitations are 2 audio files and 2 video files (I don't know the exacts limitations), you would obtain 4 audio files.

I mean, you should try to import the first audio file to anime studio, then, without adding anything, export it to mov video millions colors +. Make the same with the second audio. Then, import both videos (which will be just audio and a video full of nothing). AS should recognize both videos with their audios and continue being able two import other two mp3 audios.

Just an idea, please tell me if it works.

The only sound I would work with in AS is voice audio. Leave the rest to an editor after I have I animation. My logic is make the animation with least amount of audio then add voice, music and audio effects afterwords. I don't render with audio. I turn those layers off and add the audio on the final edit. I'm lazy, so I render to a codec that compresses the video. I add the voice track again letting me change the volume level. So I'm not stuck with what ever the AS audio track was, but it has always match up in the editor.

How many audio layers can you use in pro version. Is it worth getting pro? It seems to me (still on trial version of debut) that you (if you can only import two audio tracks) you are only able to use those audio tracks to trigger characters mouths fr only two characters in Debut. Kinda leaves you stuck if you want to do more... correct?
