Exports, video plays back way too slow

Post by loveandbigal »

I've tried doing this on both mine and my brother's computers, so I know that it's not just a computer problem. Every time I export a video to my desktop, when I play it, it's way slow and off. The mouth doesn't sync up to the audio like it did when I made the movie to begin with. What's going on?

Have you tried exporting other formats like Mov?

My guess is you're exporting to an uncompressed file which is really big so your computer finds it hard to stream it. Try exporting with a codec like Sorenson 3 or PNG and see if playback improves.

Just out of curiosity when using codec does the video quality greatly reduce (even in HD)? I'm still trying to figure out the best formats
