Batch export expansion

Post by JCook »

I'd like to see Batch export have a dialog box where you can specify a folder destination for each animation file's renders when you are rendering to a frame sequence such as JPEG or PNG. I want to be able to list 3 or 4 files to export a sequence, and not have them all end up in the same location, but each one in their own folder. This makes it much easier to then make a movie out of each sequence afterwards.

thanks,
Jack

Hello there!

As it is, with 6.1 you only need to put the files you want to batch render in separate folders, so, when you start the batch, each animation or sequences will be rendered in the folders where the files reside.

Isn't this what you want?

I work mostly with pngs (images).
So if I move my .anme-file to another place on the computer, I will have to relink everything. So for me, this is really no solution.

I can batch render any of the animation types here.

As for moving files on your system, I do not see a problem since you only need to drag and drop files in the batch render window.

Unless there is something I do not understand about your request!

Well (my best english :s)
I have a folder, named "production". There I have all the .anme-files, together with all the folders where the images are in. (I use the anime to photoshop script)
Then I have an other folder called "render" and in there all folders with all the png's to make my montage with in Adobe Premiere.
If I make my folder for my renders, I have to move the anime file in there first + the folder with the images, and sometimes more folders, since I use parts of other projects.

Thanks for the script. I will check it out.

(That page also shows an error - but I was able to get to the scripts page.)
