AS Pro updated to 6.2

Post by ulrik »

Anime Studio Pro has been updated to 6.2, I have not yet downloaded it and don't know what is new or if this is an bugfix version :)

It seems to just a bug fix and update translation.

Hmmm, I wonder if Mike has slipped in any updates to the scripting interface like he has done the last couple times! It would be good to finally have all of the channels available for my nudge keys tool.

Also, no mention yet of the bug introduced in 6.1, where shapes with over-hanging outlines could not be filled.

Is this a free or a paid upgrade? I got an email about it and when I went to the linked page it was listed as $129.99. If it's simply a bug-fix upgrade it would be nice if it was free.

Not sure what link you were sent, but I used the link that was in Sarina's thread in the Announcements section of this board and right below the section where you can buy it, there is a Free Software Updates section which lets you download version 6.2 for free, provided you have an existing serial number.

It's still a full install, so it's about the same size as the 6.1 (~400MB for the Pro version).

By the way, I just tested out the bug where a shape with over-hanging outlines can't be filled and it has indeed been fixed! That was my only major gripe with 6.1, so I'm happy.

Mac DL 442 MB
Win DL 390 MB

I won't have time to install until tomorrow, so no experiences from me right now. I wonder if "support for german" means german phonemes in lipsync?

not the specially added stuff. but all the basic tools are the same. any extra tools you can just copy over the scripts and add them to the tool list
