So now she saying im eating up all the hard drive up with half way done projects all saved in AVI, lol.
AVI is a HARD DRIVE eating machine.
blf- The biggest down side to Poser is that you end up buying your content. Modeling is a skill into it's self. So anything you do with models that you bought I can do also.
The 3000 frame is not that much of a hindrance, and until you get to understand how AS works debut is fine.
sbtamu- I'm on my second copyright infringement notice for YouTube, three and the remove the account. Suggestion, change the color and modified the characters slightly. You never know when MTV will pull your work down.

All props and toons are drawn by me. Nothing is borrowed or imported from outside sources. Also, I think i'm ok because im not promoting anything or selling anything. I dont think this violates any laws.dueyftw wrote:blf- The biggest down side to Poser is that you end up buying your content. Modeling is a skill into it's self. Did you get warned by using self made cartoons modled after
someone elses animation?
The character designs are copyrighted. This is on the bottom of the South Park website pages:sbtamu wrote:All props and toons are drawn by me. Nothing is borrowed or imported from outside sources. So in the same way that you can't legally reproduce a Pepsi logo, you also can't reproduce -- say -- Snow White, Daffy Duck, or a South Park character on YouTube, regardless of whether you've redrawn it or if you're not making any money.SOUTH PARK ©2010 Comedy Partners. All Rights Reserved. Comedy Central, South Park and all related titles, logos and characters are trademarks of Comedy Partners.
When you upload to YouTube they make you verify that you own the copyrights to everything in your clip.
That said, these things aren't usually enforced -- though Comedy Central is notorious for copyright enforcement on YouTube -- and even if they are enforced they'll start by just removing the clips, or deactivating your account if you keep violating their copyright.
But even so, that does mean that you'd end up having no way of showing anybody your hard work. Dueyftw's advice is excellent, IMHO.
Cheers,
Muffy.
East Park? Stanly River, Tyle BroSki, Deric Horseman and Lenny Mac-corn
And remember to post a copyright notice that you own the rights to it all.
They can't do squat if it is in the same style of South Park, just make the characters look different, not just change one or two things. They can be similar to the South ones but no one should have any problem telling the difference.
The take down notices come when the lawyers diced that yours is competing with the originals. Most likely never watched.

I entered a better version of this vid for South Park Studios in their "make a video commemorating their new episode" contest. and so far all i got back from the mods on that site is "good work" And if i rem right, that site is ran by someone that works for them.dueyftw wrote:East Park? That OK, but those mods are not the lawyers that will be pulling down your work and closing your account on Youtube.I entered a better version of this vid for South Park Studios in their "make a video commemorating their new episode" contest. and so far all i got back from the mods on that site is "good work" And if i rem right, that site is ran by someone that works for them.
