Control of view zooming

Post by SpaceBoy64 »

Since working on my last project in AS, the scroll wheel on my mouse quit working. I had gotten used to being able to control the view zoom with it, now that doesn't work.

Is there an alternative to using the scroll wheel? The zoom tool zooms in, but not out. I can reset the view to the camera's viewpoint, or zoom in on selected points with shift-ESC, but I'd like to be able to control the zoom better.

Thanks.

The magnifying glass icon under workspace. Click and hold left on mouse and drag mouse left and right.

The zoom tool should zoom out if you move right to left and zoom in if you move the mouse left to right.

Right Mouse button (RMB) + mouse movement = move/pan
Shift RMB + mouse left/right = Zoom in out

Okay, I had "Zoom with drag box" clicked on in preferences since I was using the scroll wheel before.

Thanks!
