I think it looks awesome! The movement you chose and the way he moves is consistent with his character (as I imagine him). And he feels alive. :D You could add a little more visual force when he's wiping his face so it looks like the cloth is contacting the skin. But it looks great as it is. :D

The movement of the hat is totally wrong. Try using a switch layer for the hand: one of the hand alone, and another with the hand holding a hat. Then, when he takes off his hat, make the hat on his head invisible, and switch the hand layer. This way, you can easily change the angle of the hat as his hand comes down and up (assuming your pivot point is set at the wrist, of course).
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Yes, Ty. It was late last night and I tried a few attempts at trying to make the handkerchief look more real when wiping. I more or less just testing for gaps etc.

I just noticed that his left hand is backwards. And the jagged ends of the shirt are not working. If I can't figure a way to make them flow with the arm i'll just make them straight or move them down closer to the wrist.

Also, the hat doesn't look right. Its in front of the head. Only solution I can think of is taking the hat off and go way up in the air then use another switch that allows the hat to be behind the head.

I did that, the problem is in the layering. The hats are in a layer above the head.

That looks nice. I do agree that creating a second hat layer behind the head and in front of the hand would look more natural. Willy doesn't seem like a character who would lift his hat carefully along a path concentric with his head but with a radius just large enough that the hat doesn't brush against his hair. Although I can imagine characters that might do that! :D

I think most people would use as much bend as they could from their forearm, and then since that's not enough to reach their hat, they'd start subconsciously realizing half way through that they have to raise the upperarm, too. Hmm... I've never really thought about this before!

PS--Oh, I just saw that you already have two hat layers. What about animated layer ordering?

Sorry, sbtamu! I didn't mean to prod you to keep obsessing over a scene that you're done working on. Number 2 looks best! :D

Nice scene! It goes a little fast, but you can definitely tell what's going on despite the speed. :D I like the ambiance of the background. I can just imagine a few moments of peaceful farm noises and then funny commotion sounds as Willy runs away. :D

yes the scene b4 this is full of chicken noises and silence as willy is sneaking in the coop. This scene is after fatman sees willy in the chicken coop.

As for the speed, The 2nd part of this scene is willy running still and the back ground moves; that way you can see more of whats going on. Also there is more farm houses, trees and bushes along with better drawn hills etc.

Most of this is still on paper tho, Willy is voiced but im still waiting on my brother to email me back fatman's voice.
