Good book
I had set out last nigh in search of some sort of tutorial on the subject of picking up objects in Anime Studio. O! I did get a load of information but not exactly on the subject I was looking for.
However, I found a delightful, up to date PDF book for beginners on how to “Creating Characters for Animation in Anime Studio 6 Debut and Pro.”(2010) By Dale Hemenway.
It’s 41 pages and well illustrated throughout covering the whole subject of creating a cartoon character from the very beginning.
No need to spend money, it’s free.

I think it is a pearl.

I'm translating it to Spanish... slower than I should (Sorry, Amigaman, it has been crazy weeks). It's a great tutorial.

Thanks for the review Wena - my head was expanding greatly. However, my attempts at convincing my wife I was now a major author were met with "That's nice...do you want peas or beans with your pie?"!! I'm now firmly grounded once more
Thanks DK, Selgin, Iwaxana and Toonertime for the comments too. Selgin, it's just fantastic that you are taking the time to translate it so I wouldn't worry about how long it takes. As I said, if you can improve upon it or add anything more feel free to change it.

Don't be too big headed, yours has been printed out so I have it as a reference. However, it is amidst such books as Preston Blare, Richard Williams and such like.
The fact that others are in the process of translating it is an indication of it's worth.
You say that to your wife, you might have a different response, a hygg may be!!

Great!GCharb wrote:I might have a go at translating it in french, if time permits.

Maybe we could make a pack or something with three versions.

Awesome!Uolter wrote:I had the same idea to translate it in italian...if time permits for me too...how can I modify the file?

I have the same question, Amigaman. I'm translating the text in word for now. My idea was using Foxit pdf editor for replacing the text, but that program is not too good for that (it's an excellent software, anyway), because it breaks the paragraphs in lines and sometimes breaks the lines in words, which make very tedious to put an entire text on a page. So maybe it would be very useful to get the original project on the original format (I mean, before been converted to pdf) to work over it.
Maybe we could make a mail chain to talk about it

Kphgraphics - That's a great looking character!
Selgin, Volter and Gcharb - I created the original file in Serif PagePlus but I should be able to save it out as something that could be loaded and edited by you such as a Microsoft Word file? What do you suggest? I will have to check what formats PagePlus can save to.
Yes, emailing would be a good idea
