Stereo render

Post by GCharb »

Hello all!

Anyone knows of a way to render stereo images but as separate images, not composite red and blue?

Thanks!

The only thing I can think of is a slight adjustment on the camera for the second set of rendered images. That would make a nice feature request though. ;)

The fundimental problem of ASP is what happens when the camera rotates or rolls. The left and right cameras have to move in the 3D space to compensate: This requires serious maths.

The good not is I have already written this and put it online: The bad news is not one used it so I let the site die.

If people really are interested in 3D, I'll publish the data again.

Bottomline is ASP is good at stereo working.

There is something irony of a double post in a stereo discussion :-) My apologies, I was using an internet cafe as my connection has yet to arrive at the new house.

Okay, I'll start a new tutorial on working with 3D. Hopefully finish it in a couple of days.
