For some reason, my exported Wings 3d obj is not fully displayed in AS. I am trying to insert a 3D Dinner table which consists of six different meshes. I combine all of them before exporting to obj. However, only one mesh, a leg, appears when inserted into AS. I open the obj in other programs and the entire model can be seen. What do I need to do for the entire model to be visible in AS?
I can export each individual mesh and put them into anime studio. However, for some reason when I combien all the meshes, only one of them is visible in anime studio. Ahhh! lol.
Aggravated with 3D. Please help me with Wings 3d and AS.

I have had much more success in lower polygon models. I think that the files were perhaps too large for Anime studio.
I can still send the OBJ file if you want to try it.
I have run into another problem.
Some of my models initially load the textures but when I close the project and reopen it, the textures are stripped from the models.
I have a 3D PS3 sitting on my 3D table. I can input the PS3 just fine but when I close the project and reopen it, the PS3 is all white; yet the table keeps it's textures.

Hmm, it seems like AS isn't reloading all the textures. I'll have to try something similar and see if I get the same effect.Kedric wrote:I have had much more success in lower polygon models. I think that the files were perhaps too large for Anime studio.

It may be that if there are too many polys for a model, AS may take a while to load them. If it even loads at all. This may be because AS doesn't use any hardware acceleration.
