Warning Lowrestv.com

Post by Itogav »

I found Heyvern's (from lostmarble's forum) website http://www.lowrestv.com/ with several tutorials which I had to pay for, fine so far. It too says that there will be new tutorials every week,
Fact is there have been none since September and no replies when you write to him.
The only thing that work there is the money trap since nowhere on the site it says there will not be any new tutorials. :x
Shame on you Heyvern.

I'm sorry you didn't get what you paid for, but I wouldn't be too hard on him. On his last post, he agonized over this: "I actually have been losing sleep over this situation. It has been nagging my concious and makes me feel... bad."

See this thread: FORUM'S MODERATOR
heyvern was and is certainly one of most highly respected members, but sadly, members, projects, etc. come and go. Life happens. At the very least, I'd recommend anyone that's new to the forums to use the search function to get the latest news. (This post would fill that purpose.)

That said, what he has there is pretty informative, so it's not a total loss. Who knows, maybe a year from now heyvern will be back. :)

Hi Itogav,
I'm in contact with Vern from time to time and I can tell you that his is 24/7 occupied. Also I'm sure that he will refund your expenses or compensate in other way if you ask him directly by email.
Also I'm sure he will be back to the forum. Just give him some time.

Vern lives.... and slowly crawls out from under his rock. His shame and irresponsible behavior can't be excused... but.... maybe... something could be done to fix things....

Glad to see you back Vern, I am sorry for your trouble and lack of sleep over this.

Funny since I went back on Hash forum today, after over a year!

Both characters look awsome, surely huge amount of work.

Best wishes man!

You mean Animation Master is still around? I thought all the developers and programmers already left? I think Blender would be a wise departure too at this point. Last time I remember it went to a yearly subscription plan. Don't pay the annual fee, don't play with the software anymore!
