Problem with switch folders...

Post by Trusty Mutsi »

I'm working on my first head, and I'm having issues with the switching folders. I have one switch folder for eyes, and one for mouths. When I turn on the closed eyes, and the open mouth, it works fine. When I click on the closed mouth, the closed eyes disappear. The closed eyes folder still exists, but it won't appear visible until I turn the open eyes back on. I'm using masking in the closed and open eyes folders, not sure if that might be an issue...

Any idea what the issue is?

*EDIT*

I discovered the problem. I didn't have the eyeballs (visible) icon clicked on next to all the layers in the switch folder. Forgot you click on the actual layer to activate it, not the visible button. Hope this helps someone in the future :)

*EDIT #2*

Looks like I was wrong again. I didn't understand fully how switch folders worked. Now I discovered the "Switch Layer" tool, and feel like an idiot ;)
