Setting line thickness *after* drawing?

Post by taapo »

I must go mad, since this fairly easy method doesn't work in AS7 (and maybe others)?

I draw a closed shape. I can change the line thickness without a problem.

I go to another layer. Go back to the original layer. Select all the points of the shape I made. I try to adjust the line thickness in the style menu ... it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

PS. I approach this from an Illustrator background, so maybe I'm overlooking something?

1. change the line thickness value in the style width area 4 to 20 any value you want
2. select the paint bucket tool and refill the shape

the line thickness should change

You must select the shape, not the points.
If you select the shape of the line you want to change using style window, it will work fine.
If you select the points, you can use the line width tool.

PD: I don't recommend to re fill the shapes, it could cause some disorders on the layers. It's not sure, but it could.
