Great Web Hosting Options

Post by feilan »

Hi,

It's so important to get a good web hosting platform because you will be relying on it to keep your websites running at all times.

The most important things to consider are:

- How reliable the platform is. This is measured in what is called 'Up Time'

- How fast the platform is. A fast service will ensure your website loads quickly.

- Support. Do they have people on hand to help you when you encounter problems.

- How many domains can you host with them.

- How much does it cost.

When I undertook a comprehensive search into the many different hosting platforms, I like you, came across some really bad platforms, especially the free ones.

However, one name kept on coming up again and again as the best.

Who was it?

It was Hostgator! You can check them out here:

And I have to say, I took peoples advice and started using Hostgator myself and it really is an awesome service.

I have over 50 sites with them and I've never had a single issue.

They provide 24/7 instant messenger support which is superb.

They also claim 99% Up Time which means they are almost guaranteed to never stop working.

They also allow you to host unlimited domains for no extra fee.

And they best bit is they are incredibly cheap! I honestly love the service.

If you're not based in the States then this may be a concern as their servers are all based in there in secure units, but I'm in England and it's never been an issue for me.

Anyway, I would recommend you take a quick look now to be sure they're right for you: http://bit.ly/CoolWebHosting

Cheers!

Feilan

Thanks for the answer ...

Now, anyone who does not work in a web services company can help me with my question?

Using "search", here is a response to a previous enquiry:

On the post pointed by jahnocli (just saw there is an h in that nick, sorry for past replies) I point to Hostrocket.

I still stand by them, you can create as many sites with as many domains as you like, in theory unlimited space and bandwidth, very fast, top notch services, fast response to ticket, been with them for years!

Hi,

Actually, I don't work for Hostgator, you can check out my own website http://www.ingramsanders.com.

I build and sell websites and have my own SEO company http://www.GoldSandDigital.com in London.

Sorry if it sounded like a pitch but I think they're really awesome, all my blogs, including my own company website and my own personal blog are hosted with Hostgator and I recommend them to my clients too.

They've helped me out loads with their instant message support but like I said, you need to check out some others for yourself before you decide that Hostgator is right for you.

I hope you find what you're looking for!

Cheers!

I tend to agree, not the best way to introduce yourself and it looks a bit suspicious.

We've had quite a bit of spam lately, so do not take it personaly, maybe you could introduce yourself, start as new! :)

Hi G

Thanks for the opportunity, I can assure I only have good intentions.

I actually got into SEO and internet marketing after undertaking the 30 day challenge run by Ed Dale and his team.

It was an incredible journey and opened my eyes to how great the web is for setting up your own business.

Through that you have to set up and develop your own niche blog and it was because of that I started to use Hostgator which is the Hosting platform they recommend.

Since then I have gone on to develop many more blogs and through my experience I have started up my own SEO company.

I only included my websites to show that I'm not a sneaky Hosting provider giving you biased info, but looking at it, it does look that way!

I did look at other Hosting platforms and have since I started using Hostgator but I can honestly say that Hostgator has been very good and very cheap.

I appreciate you guys giving me a chance to explain where I'm coming from and I would be happy to give more detailed information or even provide a video of tour of Hostgator...

I left the initial comment because I know how hard it is when searching for platforms online because there are just so many to choose from.

Also, coming in with zero experience of hosting websites it was really important to have someone real to ask questions to any time of night or day which Hostgator do.

You can add video, music or pretty much anything you want to your webpage with them too.

Anyway, like I say, I haven't used any others so I'm just speaking from my experience of them over the last 8 months.

I hope this helps and thanks for the guidance in posting in this forum!

Cheers!

It's a good job feilan is posting in Miscellaneous Chit Chat otherwise he would have ended up in the Spam Bin. After all, this is an animation site, and not a promo site for Ed Dale, Hostgator or the website linked in his signature. I think we got the sales spiel.

GCarbs useful suggestion was maybe you could (aka should) introduce yourself - ie, what is your interest in animation. We are a friendly bunch and its always good to hear what others are doing around the world.

Hey guys,

I've certainly not made the best first impression and as they say 'you only get one chance to make a first impression' I appreciate you giving me a second chance.

I've actually started designing my own banners but what I'm really interested in is Manga style animation. I love Akira and Fists of the North Star and always loved the drawing as much as the story.

I found a very cool site awhile ago about how to draw Manga characters which gives you a step by process.

It was amazing, just by following the process I was actually able to draw really cool looking Manga characters.

I know this probably sounds really lame to you all but I always thought you had to be a professional animator to draw them.

Anyway, that's really where my interest comes from, I'm certainly not an expert but it's a something that I really enjoy.

If you have any other ideas or websites that I can look at to help I'd appreciate it!

Cheers!

Where do I start with this post? This user's first post is an ad, with the same ad repeated in the footer! So it seems unlikely that it is objective...And it doesn't even offer hosting, it's just a comparison site! Credibility at rock bottom after one post -- now that is going some...
