Anime Studio 7 strings?

Post by Víctor Paredes »

Hi, I wanted to change some menu shortcuts, but can't find the EN strings file, just DE and FR. Is there any chance to download it somewhere?

thanks.

Maybe it is hard coded? It is usual that the English version is built in and you just add the non English string files when develop an internationalization of the application.

If I remember well on AS6 Mike posted a link to download the EN strings. I hope it be the same for this one.

Nice avatar, by the way

You can use your string file from version 6 - just copy it into new "Resources -> Strings" folder.

Uhm, copying the string file didn't work for me, can you tell me how you did?

Just make sure your string file is called "Strings.EN.txt" (maybe you need to force-specify language to English in the preferences) and you put it into the "Smith Micro\Anime Studio Pro 7\Resources\Strings" folder.

And, I'm not sure it is legal to modify AS files nowadays - AS6 License Agreement was just 3 pages long, while AS7's is 8 pages... Did you read it?
