Get rid of trails when my character moves?

I noticed when My characters move there is a trail of frame movements that are lightly off. I was wondering if there is a faster frame rate I could use to eliminate this ?

Also, if anyone could tell me a good dimensions setting to make my videos wide screen when I render them I would really appreciate it . =)

For the trails, disable motion blur in the layer properties.
